Having discovered the geometryHD option i’ve busied myself with adding assorted warts to the tongue. The teeth have also been created and positioned.
I’ve deleted a couple of the higher subdivisions on the body, as I need to go back and sculpt some more details. The face needs particular attention, as does the large wart on the chin.
Today he’s been given a tongue, a few tweaks and a bit of stubble. Needs a bit more stubble here and there. However that’ll have to wait, on with the tongue!
I guess this qualifies as a monster. I sketched him out last night and started work on the model in zbrush today. I feel that I approached this model a little better than the last, making sure I get the lower subdivision levels correct before moving on to the detail.
I still seem to be missing something. I can get the broad brush strokes done quite well, however the fine detail brushwork still eludes me. The head is pretty much done, with only the tongue, teeth and eyes left to add.
Tron reference in the title check, completed Hellboy model, um check? Sort of complete anyway. I’ve decided to leave my Hellboy model untextured and move on to newer projects. To be honest, I’ve always prefered it in an untextured state. Probably because I’ve not be able to nail down a look for it.
As I said yesterday, I’ve removed the bead alphas and replaced them with geometry.
