I think i've got some of the images somewhere, not too sure about the presentations though. I tended to dispose of random discs, rather than keep them. In fact I think most ended up as coasters. :)

The mirroring is easy, delete one half of the model down the center line. UV the remaining half then duplicate and mirror that mesh to make a whole one.

You should just UV half the body then mirror it to save on space if you're using a 256*256.

yeh Ive took some of the polys out of the chest and back and shes comig in under 1000quads, so with the alpha hair and what not i think she will be cool. Im also only goint to texture her with a 256*256 map. :)

I quite like the modeled hair, but if you do use an alpha it would look best if the hair was "chunky." So no thin strands like normal hair has. If you want to keep the count low, you could always lose a few poly's from the torso.

go to http://cgsprite.wordpress.com/old-3d-work/ and look at the bottom, you will see the model as of a couple of month ago, along with the original art /sketch. I think to reduce the poly limit further im going to need to use an alpha.

I guess it depends on how the hair should look. If it's only a little bit then go with the alpha. If it's an Elvis style quiff it might be better to model it. :)

As I said, this is a great model, and you have inspired me to get on and finish my PSP Everybodys Golf character. Ive managed to clean up some of the polys left stray on her legs and body, and she stands at a respectable 980 polys (quads), but im considering in doing the sprout of hair coming from here head with a Alpha Map.
