Oro update

Here we go with a little Oro update!

The body is just about complete, bar some tweaking to the arm and actually modeling the hand. Poly wise the mesh is a little heavier than I wanted, coming in at 2584 tri’s. I reckon that with the hand and a few extra details i’ll hit the 3000 tri mark easily.

Oro - Street Fighter III character model

I started this an hour or so ago, and have just about finished the head. :)

For those of you that don’t know, Oro is a character from Capcom’s Street Fighter series of videogames. Street Fighter III - New Generation to be precise.

Oro is a one armed hermit who is probably very wise and very old (i’m making this up, he might be an airline pilot for all I know!). But like most wily old geezers, they’re not to be tangled with, lest you lose an arm or something more important…!

Hey is that…

…a slightly balding Gordon Freeman? Nope, it’s not. Sorry… :)

What we have here is the almost complete model of Ryan. Full renders will appear tomorrow, when I get around to finishing the texture. I’ve tinkered with it all day and as of now have lost the will to texture further.

Time to do something different I think.

On another note, I really should find time to get the portfolio section of the site done…

Virtual Classmates Vol. 1.3

Here we go with Ryan then. The mesh is complete and fully UV mapped, so nothing left to do modeling wise. The texture is about 40% complete and doesn’t seem to present any major problems. The only tricky area to deal with, seems to be the collar and shoulders.
